At your practice, you may require your medical service provider to acquire consent from a medical director before proceeding with a particular treatment.
With Aesthetic Record, you can carry out this process seamlessly. Procedures can be signed by your provider and sent to the medical director for review in the Provider's Room.
You can learn more about the provider's sign off process here.
Then, the Medical Director can pick up and inspect pending procedures in the MD's Room. If the procedure is good to go, the director can sign and give their consent.
You can learn more about MD's sign off process here.
To use this feature, you will need to have at least one user assigned as a Medical Director in your account.
In addition, any providers whose procedures need to be reviewed and signed by this medical director must also have the MD Consent Required option toggled on in their settings and tied to the medical director.
If you haven't added your medical director and providers yet, please refer to this guide to add them to your clinic.
If you have already added your MD and the providers, please check to make sure that the providers are required to acquire MD consent and are tied to the particular MD.
Please refer to this guide to edit your user profile and turn on the MD Consent Required option. Take a look at the picture below if you can't find this option.
