When you set up a cancellation policy, you have the option to charge your patients a no show or cancel fee.

Upon no showing or cancelling the appointment, you will be asked if you wish to charge the patient your fee if it is within that specific time frame, for example 24 hours.

If you charge the patient, it will send them a receipt and give them information as to why they were charged. This invoice will now show up inside of your sales tab so that you can view every invoice. You can also click on that invoice now, and you have the option to refund if needed.
