Activate POS
In this article, we will show you how to activate point of sale. Point of Sale comes with many benefits such as advanced reporting, membership program ability, the patient wallet, and much more! 

In this article, you'll find information on how to:

A. Activate POS on the Account

B. Add In Your Bank Account Information


A. Activate POS 

Important note: Only the Head Admin on the account can set this up as the POS Settings tab is visible only to them.


If POS is activated on your account, you're able to:


-Take card (with or without a card reader) and cash payments

-Require patients to enter their CC info when booking online - cancellation policy 

-Access and export Sales reports from Business Insights

-Run multiple-tier membership programs

-Create packages and special discounts

-Use the patient wallet system

-Create and sell eGift cards

-Add treatment plans


If you deactivate POS on your account, you'll lose access to all of these features as well as the saved CC information of your patients.


Important note: There's a $10 monthly POS connection fee.


To activate POS on your account, log in to your account via https://app.aestheticrecord.com/login.

Click on Settings > POS > POS Settings > Enable POS in the top right.


Click on Setup Account, enter the required information, and when you're done, hit Save.



Once this is done, if you're located in the US, you can reach out via live chat to place an order for a card reader.

B. Add In Your Bank Account Information

In order for payouts to be credited to your bank account, make sure you have your bank account info added in.


Important note: Only the Head Admin on the account can set this up as the POS Settings tab is visible only to them.


Log in to your account via https://app.aestheticrecord.com/login.

Click on Settings > POS > POS Settings > Payout Settings > Add new bank account.


If you're adding in a new bank account, follow the same steps but make sure to hit Set as Default afterwards to make it your default bank account.
