Managing Emails and SMS Patient Communications and Reminders

Customize Your Emails and SMS 

When a patient books an appointment or if you book an appointment for them, an email and SMS is sent to them with their appointment details. 

To change your SMS and email messages:
  1. Log in your Aesthetic Record account via web
  2. Click the Appointments tab
  3. Next click on the wrench, and Smart Configuration
  4. Choose Communications
  5. Then choose the type of message you would like to edit, for example "in person booking"
  6. Edit the type and feel free to use the variables on the right side so that your messages are fully customized for each patient. 
If you wish to turn a message off, please use the toggle to disable that message. 

Appointment Reminders 

  1. Log in your Aesthetic Record account via web
  2. Click the Appointments tab
  3. Next click on the wrench, and Smart Configuration
  4. Choose Other Settings
  5. Select Appointment Reminder 
  6. Click Create 
  7. You can have as many reminders as you wish, most practices use 24-48 hours. 
  8. This will send the patient a reminder during that time frame that you choose.
