Enable/Disable Online Booking for Clinics, Providers, or Services.

This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to enable or disable online booking for clinics, providers, or services.

Updated this week

Alert: Reminder: If you choose to turn Online Booking off, you can still manually book appointments for patients. This will only prevent your patients from booking through the booking page.

1. Enable/Disable Online Booking for the Entire Clinic

1. Once inside of Aesthetic Record on the web, click on the Settings Gear> Manage Clinics> and select Edit next to the clinic name.

2. Scroll down to where it says "Clinic Available for Online Booking" and hit save.

2. Enable/Disable Online Booking for a Provider

3. To enable/disable online booking for a certain provider, go to Settings Gear> Teammates> Users> and select Edit to the right of the Provider name.

4. Scroll down under "Work as Provider" to where it says "Is available in Online Booking for Customers" and choose Yes or No. Hit save.

3. Enable/Disable Online Booking for a Service

5. To enable/disable online booking for certain services, go to the Appointments tab> Wrench Icon> Smart Configuration> Services> and select the service.

6. Scroll down to there it says "Is this service available for Online Booking?" and toggle on or off.

After choosing if the service is available for online booking, you can also choose to allow patients to only view the service and information, but not be able to book it from the online booking portal.

This is a great use-case for displaying everything that's available and offered through your practice without allowing patients to schedule specific services, and they will be prompted to call your clinic instead.

If you select the Display only Toggle, this is the prompt patients will see when viewing the services to book online.
