Tip: Tip! You must create your Dot Phrases in the web version first, then you will be able to utilize them on the app. The steps are shown below!

1. Navigate to https://app.aestheticrecord.com/settings/dot-phrases

2. Click the settings icon

3. Click "Clinical Documentation"

4. Click "Dot Phrases"

5. Click "Add"

6. Type in the Dot Phrase and Title (these can be the same title)

7. Type a general note for the service or procedure. This is the text that will be pulled when you summon the dot phrase. The text should be a phrase or description that you use frequently when you enter data into Aesthetic Record

Tip: IMPORTANT REMINDER: Do not include any patient-specific information here since it will be applied any time you summon that dot phrase.

8. Click "Save"

9. Once you're done adding Dot Phrases in the web, you will now be able to use them in the procedure notes on the app!

10. Find the procedure in the Patient's timeline and click "+ADD NOTES"

11. Type " . " to summon the Dot Phrase, then choose the title that corresponds with the procedure you did on the Patient and select it (Ex- .toxin)

12. Click save, then you have your procedure note!

Tip: After adding the procedure note, you can click into the text box and add any additional information for that specific procedure. (Ex. Patient tolerated the procedure well)
