We hope this expanded functionality reduces the back and forth Providers must do to sign charts in the Provider's Room on the web. All charts will still appear as normal if you choose to also work from the Provider's Room, but note they will be categorized according to the selection you make on the Patient's Timeline!
1. From a patient's timeline on the app, locate the Review & Sign Chart option within the chart preview.
2. This new functionality provides three options when signing from the procedure:
Sign Chart (completes it and sends it into the Signed category in the Provider's Room)
Sign & Mark as Consult (sends to the Provider's Room with that same categorization)
Sign & Send to MD (sends to your Provider's Room and sends on to the the Medical Director for review)
Please note: if you need to send your chart to the MD and don't see that as an option, please check for the two items below:
Your Medical Director is an active user and their role is set to MD in their Teammates profile (through Settings on the web > Teammates > Users)
You have your MD tied to your profile (through Settings on the web > Teammates > Users)
3. After selecting your sign & send option a screen will pop up for you to view or edit your signature, and if applicable, ensure you have the right MD tied to the chart before sending. Then, hit Complete!
