Q: What is Idle Time?

A: Idle Time is an enhancement to login security to prevent access to a user's account after a certain time of inactivity.

  • On the Web, if your account is inactive for 60 minutes you will be logged out altogether and will need to log back in using your password and email address associated to your account.

  • On the Provider App, if your account is unattended for an idle time of 30 minutes, you will be prompted to log back in using either your password or passcode. After 60 minutes of idle time, you will be logged out altogether.

Q: How do I set up my own passcode for Idle Time?

A: Through the web, go to Settings > Account Setup > Your Profile, and you will see the section for adding or changing your passcode. There are two ways to generate a passcode:

  • You can set your own 4-digit passcode using 4 numbers of your choice.

  • You can click "Generate Passcode" and the system will choose a passcode for you.

Q: When should I expect to use the passcode?

A: Your passcode is required to use for the two reasons below:

  • If you leave your device idle for 30 minutes when logged in through the Provider App, you will be prompted to enter your passcode in order to access your account again.

  • On the Provider App, after using the Lock-Mode feature for paperwork in Cosmetic and Health procedure steps, you will be prompted to enter your passcode in order to unlock the device and proceed.
