1. Log in to AR on the web.
2. Click on the settings Gear icon.
3. Click "POS"
4. Click "Patient Loyalty"
5. By Wallet Settings, click "Edit".
6. Choose your desired preferences and hit save.
For example: if you want the free monthly facial to expire after 3 months you will add in the expiration for 90 days.
7. (Optional) Set an exclusion date for dollar credit expiration.
If you're rolling out the dollar credit expiration rule for the first time and want it to apply going forward — but not to credits your patients have already accumulated — use the Exclude credits added before field.
Enter the date you want the rule to take effect. For example, entering 09/30/2026 means:
Credits added on or before September 30 will not expire and will not trigger reminder emails.
Credits added on or after October 1 will follow the expiration rules set above.
Leave this field blank if you want the expiration policy to apply to all dollar credits regardless of when they were added.
Alert: Note: this rule applies to any items that go into the wallet regardless if they were added in via membership.
