Enrolling and Getting started with the eRX Integration in AR.

Enrolling a Prescriber

1. First, head to the Settings tab on your AR dashboard. Once you click Enroll, the first person to enroll in the plan is responsible for setting up the practice.

That means whoever enrolls first must complete the entire enrollment process in order to activate eRX and invite additional Prescribers and Support Agents.

2. If you are a Prescriber setting up eRX select "Prescriber & an Account Administrator". If you are not a prescriber, but are setting up your eRX account, select "Account Administrator Only".

3. Choose your preferred plan;
- EPCS if the Prescriber needs to be able to prescribe Controlled Substances.
- Non-EPCS if the Prescriber does not need to prescribe controlled substances.

Each Prescriber must be enrolled separately. In order for a Prescriber to fully enroll and prescribe successfully, there needs to be at least one Support Agent added. You will see these steps further down.

4. Next, choose if you want to enroll into the 6-month plan or the 1-year plan.

5. The next step will be to enter the Prescriber's information. In order to complete enrollment for a Prescriber, the Prescriber needs to be an active user in your AR account. Please ensure they are an active user before proceeding!

6. Once you enter Prescriber information and click "Confirm Enrollment", you will be taken to the screen below, and will be directed to check your email inbox for an invitation to complete the rest of the enrollment.

7. Please be on the lookout for an email like this in your inbox, and click "Set Up My Account" to continue onto the next step.

8. This will then redirect you to a new page where you will need to continue entering Identification Information for verification. (Step 1/4)

12. After completing the 4 steps above for Identification purposes, you will be asked to view and agree to Terms & Policies listed.

13. Then, after viewing and agreeing to all terms and policies, you will be taken to a screen to complete your sign in to the ID.me + ScriptSure portal for prescribing.

14. Once the above steps and your ID verification are complete, you are now signed up! There are a few more steps to ensure are done correctly below, please continue scrolling.

Enrolling a Support Agent/User

15. Now, let's make sure you have Support Agents set up properly!

Keep in mind, even after the Prescriber is fully verified on their end, no further actions of prescribing can be taken until at least 1 Support Agent has been activated to verify enrollment on their end.
Head back to Settings through your dashboard > ePrescribing > and now you will see an additional option labeled "Support Users" to choose.

16. Click Support Users and "Add Support Agent".

17. You have two choices of adding a Support Agent

  • You can add a Support Agent who is also a user in your AR account by selecting the Support Agent dropdown at the top.

  • If you are a solo Provider or the only user in your AR account at this time, you can click "Add external support agent" at the bottom. This is purely for identification purposes, so the external agent will not be created as a user or charged as a user for this action, and this does not grant them access to Aesthetic Record.


    After adding your Support Agent, they will receive an email where they will need to verify the Prescriber's identity as well. Once this is done, the enrollment is fully complete and you are able to begin prescribing through Aesthetic Record!

18. You are able to track Active, Inactive & In Progress Prescribers and Support Agents.
Make sure you check the "In Progress" tab to resend the email invitation to any Support Agent or Prescriber that needs to complete their end of the enrollment process.

19. Should a Support User or Prescriber leave your practice, you will need to inactivate them from within your account. You can do so by heading to their name under the "Active" section, and click "Inactivate" over to the right.

20. You also have the ability to Reactivate & Renew Prescribers when their 6 month or 1 year plan expires. You can do so by going to the "Inactive" section under Prescribers tab and click "Activate & Renew" over to the right.
