What is Sunbit?

Sunbit is a financing solution that lets patients pay for treatments over time with easy, flexible payment plans. Clinics get paid within 5 business days while patients repay Sunbit directly.

Viewing this guide ensures you can quickly and easily integrate Sunbit into your operations. If you ever wish to disable Sunbit, the same steps below will allow you to turn the toggle and integration off.

⚠️ Please Note: Enabling and viewing Sunbit Settings is visible to the Main Admin of the account only.


Enabling the Sunbit Integration

1. Start by logging into your AR account through the Web https:/www.aestheticrecord.com

2. Then, click on the Settings Tab in the upper right corner.

3. Locate and click on POS in the left hand menu.

4. From there, click on POS Settings.

5. On the far right you will see the Sunbit section to click on.

⚠️ Please Note: This is visible to the Main Admin of the account only.

6. Click the toggle in the bottom right hand corner to turn on the Sunbit Integration.

  • If you would like to view or learn more, click the Learn More link for a redirect to additional Sunbit information.

  • Once turned on, Sunbit becomes a Payment Method at the time of checkout. Patients who have prequalified and have a Sunbit amount to use in their wallet can select Sunbit as their preferred method of payment when paying for their products and services.

  • There will be a 5.5% Processing Fee with these transactions.

Viewing Sunbit Payments in Business Insights

7. Using the Payment Methods Report through Business Insights > Sales, you can view a breakdown of Sunbit related transactions. This will include the following:

  • number of transactions in the given date range

  • total $ collected from patients who paid via Sunbit

  • any refunded invoices tied to Sunbit payments

  • the $ amount processing fee (5.5% of the invoice total)

  • the Net $ amount Collected by the practice

Q: Is Sunbit a line of credit?

A: No, Sunbit provides individual loans for each transaction. Patients may have multiple loans, with each amount depending on their current financial status.

Q: How long is a pre-qualification valid?

A: Pre-qualification amounts expire after 28 days.

Q: Can I track Sunbit transactions in my reports?

A: Yes, Sunbit appears in all relevant reports including:

  • Sales summary

  • Payment method reports

  • Total sales and net sales

  • Refunds

  • Invoice exports (listed under Tender Type)

Q: Can patients get pre-qualified without my involvement?

A: Yes, they can apply through the links in your appointment communications or the link you send from their wallet.
