Q: How do eGift cards work in AR?

A: When you sell an eGift Card to a client, they will receive an email containing a unique 16-digit code to use at checkout. There will be an eGift card option on the payment methods page for you to select when checking the patient out.

Q: Do eGift cards show in the patient wallet?

A: No, gift card amounts will not show in the patient wallet. They are completely separate from wallet credits. eGift card information is housed in the eGift Cards Revenue Report shown below.

Q: Is there a way to verify a client's 16-digit code, check their balance, or view eGift Card details?

A: Absolutely! To review eGift card details, log into the web version of AR and navigate to the Business Insights tab> Payments and Liabilities> eGift Card Revenue. Here, you can view information such as the type of gift card, purchase date, buyer and recipient details, redemption code, balance, amount/price, and expiration date. You also have the option to resend the email containing the code to the client from this section.

Q: Does AR accept physical gift cards?

A: If you would like your clients to leave with a physical gift card, we recommend selling the eGift card through Aesthetic Record, then creating or purchasing your own physical card or certificate where you can write the code to reference later!

Q: If the client wants to purchase more than one gift card, how do I check them out?

A: You will need to sell each eGift card separately on the app. However, on the online portal, clients can purchase multiple cards at one time without having to create a portal.

Q. Why are my eGift cards not showing up in the app to sell?

A. This means that you have not prebuilt them in the web version of AR. Click HERE for instructions!
