1. Let's start on the web. Log in to AR on the Aesthetic Record website. Go to the appointments tab and locate your booked appointment.
2. After you have clicked on the appointment, you will see the appointment card pop up. Click the toggle next to Appointment Confirmed.
3. Now, when you go back to the calendar, you will see a green checkmark next to their name and service. This means you have confirmed their appointment.
Alert: Patients are unable to confirm appointments directly. To confirm, they must call the office or send a text through the 2‑way inbox. The practice will then have to manually confirm the appointment.
4. You can also check a patient in when they arrive. Click back on the Appointment Details card and then Click Patient Check In.
5. You will then be prompted to type in a room number and can add a customer note. The customer note can also be sent to the provider.
Tip: When you check a patient in, the provider can be sent an email and SMS to let them know their client has arrived. To ensure these are turned on, go to Settings- Teammates- Users- Edit next to the name of the user you want to receive these notifications- Scroll Down- Check the box that says Receive Patient check-in SMS & Email.
6. Once you have checked in a client, the appointment time card will turn gray.
Tip: Quick reminder of calendar colors!
Gray= Checked in
Red=Procedure started but payment has not been completed.
Green= Procedure and payment complete.

7. To confirm an appointment on the iOS app, log in to the app. Tap the 3 lines in the upper left corner and then go to Calendar. Tap on the appointment and then the appointment details will pop up. Scroll down and tap the toggle next to Appointment Confirmed.
8. From here, you can also check the client in.
9. Just like on the web, you will be prompted to type in a room number and can add a customer note. The customer note can also be sent to the provider. You can also connect the patient to ASPIRE rewards from this screen.
