Tip: If you don't see Alastin products in the mapping list, confirm with your account representative that your practice is enabled for Alastin treatments in ASPIRE.
Step 1: Match Your Alastin Products (Web — Control Center)
Before Alastin purchases can be reported to ASPIRE, you need to match your practice's retail products to the Galderma product catalog.
Log in to Control Center.
Navigate to Integrations > ASPIRE.
Open the Product Mapping page.
In the product mapping interface, locate your Alastin retail products. Alastin products are now listed alongside standard Galderma injectable products.
For each Alastin product in your inventory, select the corresponding product from the Galderma catalog dropdown.
Save your matches.
Step 2: Using Alastin Products at Checkout
Once your products are matched, the ASPIRE integration works automatically when the Alastin Product is sold via Chart-To-Cart.
Please ensure to add the Alastin retail product to the procedure so patient can earn Aspire points on the eligible Alastin Product purchases.
What happens when a patient purchases an Alastin product:
The purchase is reported to ASPIRE/Maritz automatically when the procedure is completed and payment is collected.
The patient earns ASPIRE reward points on the Alastin purchase (subject to ASPIRE program rules).
No HCP certificate or redemption step is required. Alastin is a retail product — the system simply notifies ASPIRE that the product was purchased.
Certificate Behavior with Alastin Products
Understanding how ASPIRE certificates interact with Alastin products is important:
Cart Contents | Can Apply ASPIRE Certificate? |
Alastin products only | ❌ No — certificates cannot be applied to Alastin-only carts |
Galderma treatment only (e.g., Restylane) | ✅ Yes |
Galderma treatment + Alastin product | ✅ Yes — certificate applies to eligible Galderma items |
Why? Alastin products are retail skincare items and follow a different ASPIRE workflow than injectable treatments. Patients still earn points on Alastin purchases, but those points must be redeemed against eligible Galderma treatment products.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to do anything special at checkout for Alastin products? No. As long as your products are matched in the integration settings, the purchase is reported to ASPIRE automatically when the procedure is checked out.
Can patients redeem ASPIRE certificates on an Alastin-only cart? No. ASPIRE certificates require at least one eligible Galderma treatment product in the cart to be applied.
My Alastin products aren't showing up in the mapping list — what should I do? Confirm that your practice account is enabled for Alastin in the ASPIRE system. Reach out to your Aesthetic Record account representative or contact support if the products still don't appear.
Do Alastin purchases generate points for the patient? Yes. Patients earn ASPIRE reward points on Alastin purchases, which can later be converted to certificates and used toward eligible Galderma treatments.
