This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to use the Patient Profile feature on Aesthetic Record to mark a client as "Do Not Call" or "Fire This Patient." It helps streamline the process of client management and allows practitioners to easily keep track of clients they no longer want to contact or work with.
Tip: You'd only want to use this feature if you no longer want a patient to attend to your practice. This also blocks them from logging into their patient portal and scheduling appointments online.
1. Navigate to https://app.aestheticrecord.com/clients
2. Click "Patients"
3. Search for the patient
4. Click on the client's name
5. Once you're in the client's profile, toggle on "Fire this Patient"
6. To confirm that you would like to fire the patient, click "Yes"
After firing a patient, the patient will receive an error if they try logging into their portal. Firing patients prevents them from accessing their patient portal and account information unless you toggle the fire setting off.
This action is to prevent patients who no longer have ties to the clinic from being able to access and schedule, manage their related clinic information. If you fire a patient and then need to grant them access to their portal again, you can do so by toggling off "fire this patient" from within their patient profile on either the web or the AR App.
If you need to see a list of patients that have been fired from your practice, you can view this two ways:
Utilize the filter tool within the patients tab on the web. Locate the blue circle with the white + sign to the right of the patient list, and select the Fired view. From there, you can export the list and filter to just those who have been marked as fired.
2. Go to Business Insights from the web > Patients > Patients Dismissed > filter to the needed date range. this will show you a report directly within AR with information regarding their last visit and their fired date.
