Add Provider SMS Notifications for Appointment Changes

Enable the ability for a Provider to be notified via SMS notifications if someone books, reschedules or cancels an appointment.

Tip: As a Provider, you can now enable SMS notifications anytime a change occurs to your appointment schedule. If someone books, reschedules or cancels, you have the option to be notified via SMS at a number of your choosing.

Alert: Please note, once enabled, these messages will be included in your monthly SMS usage count.

Enabling SMS notifications if someone books, reschedules or cancels an appointment with a Provider

1. Navigate to the AR Web Browser

2. Click the settings wheel in the top right hand corner.

3. You will default to the Your Profile page,

4. Your default phone number will appear here, but you are able to change it if you prefer to direct those messages elsewhere.

One of two profile criteria must be met for this feature.

  • Settings -> Teammates -> Users -> Edit -> Role (must be provider)

  • Settings -> Teammates -> Users -> Edit -> Work as Provider (must be toggled on)

5. Select your notification preferences- you can receive an SMS anytime there is a new appointment, a reschedule or a cancellation. When finished, hit Save.

6. Once enabled, you will begin to receive notifications according to your preferences. If at any point you wish to stop these notifications, just head to your profile inside of Settings and turn them off!
