Phase 1: Power On and Connect to Wi-Fi
Power on the device: Connect the T600 card reader to a power source using the provided power cord. Turn the reader on and wait for it to boot up.
Connect to Wi-Fi: On the T600 screen, open the network settings menu and select your practice’s secure Wi-Fi network. Enter the network password to connect.
Verification: Check for the connected Wi-Fi icon in the top status bar of the T600 screen.
Phase 2: Pair the T600 with Aesthetic Record
Get the pairing code: Once connected to Wi-Fi, the T600 will display a unique registration code on its screen.
Access POS Settings: Have your practice’s Main Admin log into the Aesthetic Record portal.
Navigate to Reader Settings: Go to Settings > AR Pay/POS > POS Settings > Card Reader.
Add the Reader: Click Add Reader and enter the code displayed on your T600 screen to complete the connection.
Verification: A success message will appear in Aesthetic Record, confirming that the T600 reader has been added.
Phase 3: Install Required Updates & Test
1. Download Required Software Updates:10–15 minutes.
Once connected, the T600 will prompt you to download two sequential software updates. Complete both downloads before processing transactions.
Verification: The device will reboot after updating and return to the main home screen.
2. Log in to Provider App:1 minute.
Open the Aesthetic Record Provider App on your device and log in with your provider credentials.
3. Run a Test Transaction:2 minutes.
Create a test checkout in the Provider App and complete the transaction using the T600 reader.
Verification: The checkout completes successfully and displays a payment confirmation on the provider app.
