Updated this week

Create a Shopify App

2. Navigate to Apps & Sales Channels on the left

3. Click Develop apps

4. Click Create an app

5. Name your app (we recommend AR Integration) and click Create App

6. Click Configure Admin API scopes

7. To ensure proper syncing and setup, you will want to enable all of the fields by clicking each checkbox in the list. This will also make sure you're integration is ready when we add more updates.

8. Once you've checked them all, click Save.

9. To finish, click Install App.

10. The last step to create your custom app is to click Install.

Retrieving the Integration Credentials

Tip: The following Shopify data will need to be copied from Shopify and pasted in AR.

11. You will need the shop URL found at the top of the navigation sidebar. Be sure to use this URL- not the actual shop URL where a client would shop. This is very important- make sure you grab the right one!

12. To access the Admin API access token, navigate to API credentials & click Reveal Token Once.

13. Lastly, you will need the API key & API secret key to complete the integration in AR.

Activating the AR Integration

14. To activate Shopify in AR, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Shopify, and toggle on the integration.

Add the information from above into the each of the respective fields, and then assuming you want to keep your inventory synced between the two systems, toggle on Sync Product Stock and click Save.

In the next article, we will cover how to sync your inventory between systems!
