With Aesthetic Record, you have the option to pre-make frequently used discounts, such as preset dollar or % off (to do so, please log in to AR on the web, click the settings gear in the top right- POS- Promotions-Create Discount.) For any reason that you need to apply a discount that you have not previously created under the Promotions tab on the web, you can apply a customized discount to the entire cart or just to a specific item during the checkout process.
Apply Pre-built Discounts to the Cart
If you have already built your dollar off or percentage off promotions in the web, please see the steps below to apply them at checkout!
After charting the product on the client, tap the credit card option to check out. Before you follow through with the checkout process, swipe down on the Current Sale box.
2. Tap Promotions and select the discount you would like to give the client.
TIP! By selecting All Types, it will allow you to filter which promotions you would like to narrow it down to. Ex. %/$ off, Packages and Bogo, etc.
3. Swipe up on the Current Sale box. You will then see the discount you selected for the patient with the updated total price.
Go Custom Discount for Entire Cart
1. - 1. Log in your Aesthetic Record account on the app.
2. In the procedure window on a patient's timeline, tap on Take Payment.
3. At the top of your screen, select the Promotions tab, then tap on the Go Custom button.
2. 4. The Add Custom Discount window will pop up. Select the discount type - either $ for a fixed dollar off discount amount or % for a percentage discount.
5. Enter the discount and add a note about the custom discount under Discount Note -this can be a reason or explanation for the custom discount.
6. Tap Add to add the discount. The custom discount will be applied to all of the products in the cart, bypassing any other discount that you've applied.
7. Tap on the Checkout button at the bottom right to finish the transaction.
Custom Discount for Specific Product
3. Once all your items have been added to the cart on the app, lift up the cart preview screen.
From here, you can custom discount a specific product. Click on the item you want to discount and edit the discount details. You can also mark it complimentary to make it 100% off.
