Enable 2 Factor Authentication & Security Question

  1. Navigate to Aesthetic Record's login page via web

2. In your control center via web click the settings wheel located on the top right corner.

3. In your Settings, go to Account Setup → Your Profile.

Step 1: Choose How to Receive Your OTP

You’ll see three options for how you’d like to receive your OTP (one-time passcode) when logging in:

  • Google Authenticator app

  • SMS

  • Email verification

Select your preferred method. Enter the OTP you receive to verify the option.
✅ Once verified, you’ll log in using your password + OTP.

Step 2: Set Up a Security Question

You’ll also see an option to set up a Security Question for Recovery. This acts as a backup if you ever lose access to your OTP method.

  1. Select one of the three security questions from the dropdown.

  2. Enter your answer. (Please Note: answers are case sensitive — if you use a capital letter, you’ll need to type it the same way in the future.)

Click Update Answer to save.

Using 2FA: Trust this Device & Security Question

4.

Step 1: Enter Your Password

On web or iOS Log in as usual by entering your account password.

Step 2: Enter Your OTP

Next, you’ll be prompted to enter the OTP (one-time passcode) sent to the device or method you selected (Google Authenticator, SMS, or Email).

Step 3: (Optional) Trust This Device

To make logging in easier, you can select “Trust this device.”

  • When enabled, you’ll only need to enter your password for the next 14 days.

  • After 14 days, the OTP will be required again for security reasons.

This option is helpful if you’re using a secure, personal device and want to reduce extra steps.

Step 4: Troubleshooting OTP Issues

  • Didn’t get your OTP? Select “Resend” to request a new code.

  • Still having issues? Choose “Try another way” to use one of your backup methods (SMS or Email).

5.

Step 5: Using Your Security Question

If you select “Try another way”, you’ll be prompted to answer your security question (the one you set up earlier in your profile).

  • Enter your answer exactly as you created it. (Remember: answers are case sensitive.)

  • Once received, enter the OTP and select continue to login.

6.

Step 6: Receiving Your Code

Your OTP code will be sent to the method you selected — SMS, or Email. Make sure to check the correct device or inbox.
